Prepare for station transfers and busy travel days

Does a Japan data eSIM provide a Japanese phone number?
Do not assume a data plan includes a local number or ordinary voice and SMS service. Check the specific plan if you need a number for reservations or another service; internet access alone does not meet that requirement.
Check the supported-country list for the exact plan in the app. Local signal, your device and the selected network affect the connection; a coverage code is not a promise of service at every location.
Get ready before departure
The selected catalog plans list the first network connection as their billing start. Follow the exact order instructions and avoid connecting to a supported network before you intend to start the plan.
- Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
