For a London visit, save tickets and accommodation details and leave your mobile allowance for live transport updates, directions and messages. If you will move between cities, include each travel day when choosing validity.

A longer journey involving countryside or remote parts of Scotland can need more offline preparation than a city break. Check available network information for the route, and do not assume the connection you experienced in London represents everywhere else. A separate estimate for video calls or laptop use makes plan selection more useful.

Does a UK plan cover the Republic of Ireland?

Check the exact coverage list instead of treating the two destinations as interchangeable. The UK-only selections here list GB. If your itinerary includes Ireland, look for its explicit inclusion in the app.

Check the supported-country list for the exact plan in the app. Local signal, your device and the selected network affect the connection; a coverage code is not a promise of service at every location.

Get ready before departure

The selected catalog plans list the first network connection as their billing start. Follow the exact order instructions and avoid connecting to a supported network before you intend to start the plan.

1. Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
2. Buy the plan in Stellar eSIM and follow its installation steps over a reliable connection.
3. When you are ready to use it, select the travel eSIM for mobile data and follow its roaming instructions.
4. Test a small web page and monitor the remaining data during the trip.
